Corporate Cup Run Results:

Michael Zascicinghs of TEAM, Inc. was the first Corporate Cup runner across the finish line!

TEAM, Inc.'s Michael Zascicinghs  was the first Corporate Cup runner across the finish line on a cold, wet and windy night that saw 88 runners and walkers participating in the Valley YMCA's 5K Sunset Race on Wednesday night. There were 194 total participants who braved the elements in the second annual event. Zascicinghs finished the race in 20:47 which was just six seconds ahead of BIC's Paul Moriber. The UI duo of Mark Ddenedetto and Chuck Winchell  came in four seconds apart to finish third and fourth while another BIC runner, Pat Corle, rounded out the top five. Corporate Cup participants were split almost evenly between the run and walk with 46 in the run and 44 in the walk.

PerkinElmer was the leader in participation for the day as they had 38 people involved. BIC had 16 and Fletcher Thompson was also in double figures with 11.

Weather conditions were less than ideal as it rained consistently throughout the race with some heavy downpours which may have slowed some a bit, but didn't dampen the spirits at all. Following the race, the Y had a great spread of food prior to the awards presentation.
