Thursday

Almost done!

The next generation of volunteers gained some early experience.

The volunteers came from all over today, and the project is just about done. Every room and hallway has been painted, most of the trim is in, and the new storage closet is nearing completion. Thursday's volunteers have left Friday's crews with touch-up and clean-up as their main duty and the prospect of a refurbished Tinney Center re-opening on Monday.

Pitney Bowes and Staybridge Suites joined the volunteer ranks today and crews returned to action from Perkin Elmer, First Union Bank, Applica, Transcentive, ATS and Iroquois Gas. Thanks to the generosity of George Audet at Subway in Ansonia, they were all well fed.
