Valley United Way's Youth Leadership Program held a very successful benefit concert on Saturday night, October 6 at Ansonia High School. The concert was one of the featured events in the Valley Rivers Celebration.

This year's concert was held to benefit Alyssa Mushin. She is a 7 year old who has Canavan's Disease which is a very rare genetic disorder. Slightly over $1,000 was raised in this year's event. This was the third year for the concerts. Click here to see highlights from last year's event.
