Year ends with announcement of Youth GrantsFirst Middle School Community Leadership ConferenceCamp Jewell Officers Letter Carriers Food Drive Pitney Bowes Diversity Fair Twenty-six students have been selected to participate in this year's Youth Leadership Program at Valley United Way. The students come from six different area high schools. They were introduced to each other at an welcoming reception for the students and their parents held at Valley United Way. The students began their activities last weekend with the annual team building retreat at Camp Jewell in Colebrook. Click here for the photo album. Pat Tarasovic, Director of United Way's Volunteer Center, oversees the program along with her adult advisory committee consisting of Dave Grant, Jr., Melissa Pucci and Pam Mautte who accompanied the group to Camp Jewell.
